The Boston Veg Food Fest is a free two-day vegan food festival held on Saturday, October 17 (10 am-5 pm) and Sunday, October 18, 2026 (11 am-4 pm) at the Reggie Lewis Athletic Center, 1350 Tremont Street in Roxbury. It is run by the Boston Vegetarian Society, and 2026 is its 31st year.

The core of the event is a marketplace of plant-based food and lifestyle products, where you can talk to the producers, taste samples and buy at show-special prices. Alongside it runs a program of speakers on plant-based nutrition, cooking, athletics, climate and sustainable living.

For families

There is a Kids' Activity Room for children with a parent or guardian, and the building is step-free: the entrance is wheelchair accessible, with elevators and accessible restrooms on both floors used by exhibitors.

Getting there

The Orange Line's Roxbury Crossing station is diagonally across the street from the athletic center, which makes the T the easiest option. The Green Line E branch at Museum of Fine Arts is about three-quarters of a mile away. The organizers note free parking in three nearby lots and free street parking along Malcolm X Boulevard.

Good to know

Admission costs nothing, but bring a budget for food and products; festival merchandise such as organic cotton T-shirts and totes is also sold.
