Harpoon Octoberfest is the Seaport brewery's fall beer festival, held outdoors at Harpoon Brewery, 306 Northern Avenue, on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3, 2026. The two days are run as two different parties, and both are 21+ only.

Two days, two styles

• Friday, October 2, Octoberfest After Dark (6-11 pm): black lights, DJs, dance floors and glow-in-the-dark games, with a ceremonial keg tapping at 6:45 pm and stein hoisting at 6:50 and 9 pm. Last drink is poured at 10:30 pm. Arrive between 6 and 9:30 pm.
• Saturday, October 3, Traditional Octoberfest (noon-7 pm): oompah sets from Oberlander Hofbrau, a 1 pm keg tapping, a chicken dancing competition at 1:30 pm, stein hoisting at 2:30 and 4:45 pm and a pretzel eating contest at 3:30 pm. Last drink is poured at 6:30 pm. Arrive between noon and 5:30 pm.

Tickets and tokens

Online tickets start at $15 and are cheaper than the door. At the gate, admission with one token and a Welcome Kit is $28, or $45 with three tokens. Extra tokens cost $9 each and work for beer, non-alcoholic drinks, games and the Harpoon food stalls. The festival is cashless (cards and Apple Pay) and tickets are non-refundable.

Good to know

Besides beer there is Harpoon hard cider, hard seltzer, specialty cocktails and non-alcoholic beer. The event runs rain or shine under large tents. Dogs are not allowed, except service dogs.
