More than 40 airlines fly to Boston Logan International Airport, according to Massport, the airport's operator. The four big US carriers, American, Delta, JetBlue and United, are joined by Southwest, Alaska, Allegiant, Frontier and Sun Country on domestic routes, and by about 35 foreign airlines, from Aer Lingus and British Airways to Emirates, Japan Airlines and Turkish Airlines, on international ones. Spirit Airlines no longer flies anywhere: it shut down on May 2, 2026.
Logan is in East Boston, across the harbor from downtown, and Massport says its airlines serve more than 60 nonstop international destinations. Which airline you pick decides which terminal you use, so the list below is organized by terminal. Always confirm the terminal and gate with your airline before you fly, as Massport advises. Which airlines fly to Boston, by terminal?
Logan has four passenger terminals, A, B, C and E. Massport's airline directory lists these assignments:

Terminal E is the international terminal. Delta, American and JetBlue international passengers arrive there even when their airline departs from another terminal: American departs from B, JetBlue and TAP Air Portugal from C.
Which US airlines fly to Boston?
- Legacy carriers: American Airlines, Delta and United, each with domestic and international flights.
- JetBlue: domestic and international flights from Terminal C.
- Low-cost and leisure carriers: Southwest (Terminal B), Allegiant, Frontier and Sun Country (all Terminal E).
- Others: Alaska Airlines (B), and the small regional airlines Cape Air (C) and Boutique Air (B).

Massport lists these foreign carriers at Logan: Aer Lingus, Aeromexico, Air Canada, Air France, Arajet, Austrian Airlines, Avianca, Azores Airlines (SATA), Bermudair, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Condor, Copa Airlines, El Al, Emirates, Etihad, Hainan Airlines, Iberia, Icelandair, ITA, Japan Airlines, KLM, Korean Air, LATAM, Level, Lufthansa, Porter, Qatar Airways, Scandinavian Airlines, Sunrise Airlines, Swiss, TAP Air Portugal, Turkish Airlines, Virgin Atlantic and WestJet.

What happened to Spirit Airlines in Boston?
Spirit Airlines ceased all operations on May 2, 2026, and its flights were canceled, as NPR reported that day. It no longer appears in Massport's airline directory. If you held a Spirit booking to Boston, rebook with another airline; the low-cost alternatives still at Logan are Southwest, Allegiant, Frontier and Sun Country.
How do you get from Logan to downtown Boston?
Two of the transit options into the city are free from the airport:
- Silver Line SL1: stops at every terminal and runs to South Station, where it connects to the Red Line and Commuter Rail. The MBTA says service from Logan Airport is always free.
- Blue Line: the free Massport Shuttle links every terminal with Airport station, and the Blue Line connects to the Green Line at Government Center and the Orange Line at State.
- Logan Express: Massport buses to Back Bay, Braintree, Danvers, Framingham and Woburn.
- Water transportation, ride apps, taxis and rental cars are also available; Massport lists them on its Getting Here pages.

Are there other airports for Boston?
Yes. Massport also runs Worcester Regional Airport, west of the city. T.F. Green Airport near Providence, Rhode Island, has its own stop, TF Green Airport, on the MBTA Providence Commuter Rail line to South Station, which makes it a workable alternative when fares into Logan are high. Compare the extra train time and fare with the saving before you book.
