The Red Sox play their 2027 home opener at Fenway Park on Thursday, April 1, 2027, against the Cincinnati Reds. The season begins a week earlier, on March 25 in Seattle, and the opener starts a four-game series with the Reds that runs through April 4. The club says it is the Reds' first visit to Fenway for a home opener. Game times for 2027 had not been announced when we checked, and the Red Sox note that all dates are subject to change.
