Boston Lyric Opera performs Andre Previn's A Streetcar Named Desire at the Emerson Cutler Majestic Theatre on Tremont Street in November 2026: Thursday, November 5 and Friday, November 6 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, November 8 at 3 p.m. The opera sets Tennessee Williams' play to Previn's score, with a libretto by Philip Littell, and is sung in English with English supertitles. It is a new co-production with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis and part of BLO's 50th season.
