The SoWa Christmas Market is an indoor holiday market in the SoWa Power Station, 550 Harrison Avenue in the South End, open from Friday, November 20 to Sunday, December 27, 2026. It is the 11th year of the market, which gathers more than 100 regional makers, artists, designers and specialty food vendors under one roof.

Hours

• Opening night, Friday, November 20: 4-9 pm
• Rest of November: Tuesday-Thursday 4-8 pm, Friday 4-9 pm, Saturday 10 am-9 pm, Sunday 10 am-7 pm; Black Friday (November 27) 10 am-7 pm
• From December 1: Tuesday-Thursday 4-9 pm, Friday 4-10 pm, Saturday 10 am-10 pm, Sunday 10 am-7 pm; Christmas Eve 10 am-4 pm
• Closed: Mondays, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day

Tickets

Admission is $10, and children 12 and under get in free. The organizers explain that the fee pays for staffing, decor, heat and cleaning in place of large corporate sponsors. Re-entry is not allowed because of fire department capacity rules. Cash is preferred at stalls, but cards and Apple Pay are accepted.

Getting there

The market is in the SoWa art and design district, close to the South End restaurant strip. On-site parking is $10, cash only, at several lots on Harrison Avenue and Albany Street; the lot at 540 Harrison Avenue is the stroller- and wheelchair-friendly one.

Good to know

Strollers and children are welcome. Dogs are not allowed, except service animals.
