About
Seaport Hotel Boston is a 428-room independent hotel at 1 Seaport Lane, connected to the Seaport World Trade Center on the harbor side of the Seaport District. It opened in 1998, long before the neighborhood filled in with towers, and it is still an independent hotel rather than part of a national chain; CoralTree Hospitality took over day-to-day management in 2025.
It suits convention-goers, families and anyone who wants harbor views. World Trade Center station on the Silver Line is next door, with a direct ride to Logan Airport and South Station, and the Institute of Contemporary Art, Harpoon Brewery and the Seaport's restaurant blocks are all within a short walk.
Rooms and suites
Rooms come in Deluxe and Harbor View categories, along with suites. Each has Wi-Fi, a refrigerator and a 46- to 55-inch TV, and the harbor-facing rooms look out over the water toward the airport. Rooms facing the harbor get the best light and the most interesting view, with planes and ferries crossing the water. City-view rooms face the Seaport's new towers and downtown.
Pool and fitness
The Wave Health & Fitness Center is open 24 hours and includes a heated indoor pool, which makes this a good winter pick for families.
Restaurants
Aura serves breakfast, TAMO Bistro + Bar handles dinner and drinks with a harbor-facing terrace in summer, and Seaport Café covers grab-and-go breakfast and lunch.
The neighborhood
The hotel sits at the quieter, harbor end of the Seaport, next to the Seaport World Trade Center and the cruise and ferry piers. The Harborwalk runs past the building, and the Seaport's main restaurant streets, including Woods Hill Pier 4 and Row 34, are about ten minutes on foot.
Getting there
World Trade Center station on the Silver Line is next door. From Logan, the SL1 bus runs directly from the terminals to World Trade Center for free, and a taxi takes about 10 to 15 minutes through the Ted Williams Tunnel.
Before you book
Self-parking is $42 overnight and valet $59, both with in-and-out privileges. Pets under 25 pounds are welcome for a $100 nonrefundable cleaning fee.
