Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street opened in May 2019 in a 61-story tower designed by Henry Cobb of Pei Cobb Freed with CambridgeSeven. At 724 feet it is the tallest residential building in New England and the third-tallest building in Boston. This is the contemporary counterpart to the older Four Seasons on the Public Garden: floor-to-ceiling glass, a full wellness floor and two international restaurant names on the second floor. It suits travelers who want Back Bay as a base, near the Prudential Center, Newbury Street, the Hynes Convention Center and Symphony Hall, with Fenway Park about five minutes away by car. Rooms and suites are built around floor-to-ceiling windows, so height is the point; guest rooms run from the 8th to the 21st floor. The circular Back Bay corner suites wrap the windows around the living room, the corner Cambridge Suite looks toward Cambridge and has a free-standing tub, and one suite has the hotel's only wraparound terrace. The reimagined Presidential Suite adds a full kitchen and views toward Fenway Park.
