Rooms and The Langham Club

Rooms have marble bathrooms and residential-style furnishings, and the family rooms add a queen sofa bed, sleeping up to four in the king version and six in the double. A two-story family suite puts the living room downstairs and the bedroom above. Club rooms and suites include The Langham Club, a lounge open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. that serves a full breakfast, afternoon snacks, and evening cocktails with a light dinner; the bi-level executive suites have large brass-embossed windows onto Franklin Street.

Pool and fitness

The third floor holds a 40-foot heated indoor pool in a sunlit pavilion, with a whirlpool, saunas and pool toys. Above it, a two-level fitness center on the fourth floor has Technogym cardio machines, Peloton bikes and Echelon fitness mirrors with on-demand classes. There is no spa.

A bank's history on the walls

Artists Lane displays photographs of the bank's construction and early years, and much of the art throughout the building pays homage to its banking past. The hotel is also EarthCheck Platinum certified and sources most of its ingredients from New England producers.

Restaurants and bars

Grana fills the former bank's grand hall, with soaring ceilings, velvet furniture and Italian dishes served family-style. It serves breakfast and lunch, plus a sit-down brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Fed is the hotel's cocktail bar, dressed in dark wood and hand-tufted rugs, with shelves of Boston banking and cocktail history and more than 90 pieces of local art. It serves seasonal shared plates alongside the cocktails, moves outdoors to the Rose Garden Terrace in the warmer months, and has live music on Fridays.
