Shops for most budgets

Beyond Saks, the directory mixes activewear (Lululemon, Alo Yoga), everyday fashion (Madewell, Vineyard Vines, Marine Layer) and gifts, from Paper Source and LovePop to Shinola and L’Occitane. Läderach sells Swiss chocolate. There is a Star Market supermarket and a CVS Pharmacy, which is handy for hotel guests who need supplies rather than souvenirs. Eataly and the food court crowd

Eataly Boston, the Italian food hall and grocery, is the center’s biggest dining draw, with Earls Kitchen + Bar, The Cheesecake Factory, Wagamama and Shake Shack for sit-down or quick meals and Blue Bottle Coffee for coffee. Tree House Brewing Co. runs a storefront, a kiosk and an indoor beer garden here, and the center says it is the only place in the City of Boston to buy Tree House beer.

View Boston and the Duck Tours

View Boston, the observation deck, fills the top three floors of the tower, with indoor panoramas on the 52nd floor and an open-air roof deck and the Stratus bar on the 51st. Boston Duck Tours leave from outside the center on Huntington Avenue, where the ticket booth stands next to Star Market; the tours run seasonally and last about 80 minutes.

The South Garden

The center also holds the South Garden, a 1.3-acre open-air park with water features, seating and a built-in stage for musical performances, useful when you want to sit outside between shops.

Connected hotels and buildings

The Pru says its 23-acre complex is connected to the Hynes Convention Center, to Copley Place and to three hotels: Mandarin Oriental, Boston, the Boston Marriott and the Sheraton. Staying in any of them puts the shops, the supermarket and the Green Line under the same roof.
