Bleacher Bar is the only bar inside Fenway Park, tucked beneath the center-field bleachers with a garage-door window that looks straight onto the outfield. The room was the visiting team’s batting cage and a store for field-maintenance equipment before it opened as a bar on May 16, 2008, and you do not need a game ticket to come in.

The view

The garage door is the reason to come. On non-game days it opens directly onto the field. During games the glass door comes down and turns into a window: you can still see out across the outfield, but the players cannot see in, and there is no access to the field itself.

The bar opens two hours before every Red Sox home game, and it says service peaks in the two to three hours before first pitch, depending on the day and the opponent. On game days tables are first come, first served. A DJ takes over after every Sox home game, DJs also play every Friday and Saturday, and there is never a cover. The big screens carry football too: the bar’s 2026 watch-party schedule lists every Buffalo Bills game.

Food and drink

The menu is ballpark food with a table to eat it at: sliders, wings, trash fries, a Fenway Dog on a New England split-top bun, burgers, sandwiches and a kids’ menu for under-12s.
