The Speakeasy

The club calls its back room Boston’s Original Speakeasy, a title that is its own rather than a matter of record. Getting there is part of the show: you slip along the bar, down the corridor and through the curtain. The room has plush leather seats, billiards and a full bar, and it can be booked privately or semi-privately for events.

Food and drinks

The kitchen serves lunch and dinner menus built to go with a list of era-inspired cocktails, and the club notes gluten-free options. The dining room takes reservations on OpenTable; the bar and the Speakeasy are first come, first served, so a table there comes down to timing.

Drag brunch on Sundays

Drag Me To Brunch runs every Sunday, hosted by Destiny Boston and Dee Dee de Ray with guest performers. A buffet comes first, then an interactive show that runs for about two hours, and a photographer takes pictures with the queens afterward. It is ticketed and 21+, and groups are sometimes seated family style with other parties; times and prices are in the FAQ.

Private events

Three spaces can be booked: the Beacon Room, a private room; the Trimountaine Room, which is the main dining room; and the Speakeasy, private or semi-private. Requests go through the event form on the club’s website.
